(…) But those who achieve a perfect communion between idea, staging and performance are Los Gingers, artists proceeding from the fertile Catalan circus scene and other collective adventures, whose quartet format succeeds in connecting with the audience in a striking way.

The sun has already gone and the air is cooler but the show grows in intensity, humour and acrobatic difficulty. A great performance, hand in hand with the unfolding of circus technique at the service of the characters. It seems to be the right show at the right moment as the laughter and clapping prove.

    Carlos Gil Zamora.

The unanimity with which the Jury has awarded a prize to Los Gingers for their work “Perlas y Plumas” (‘Pearls and Feathers’), makes us once again face what schools represent: the moment where a group of personalities and artists succeed in expressing a way of understanding the entertainment world and what they leave behind  is a kind of following. The background of the quartet Los Gingers is evident but their work places them in another truth: they do what they best know how, they do it well and they do it with technique and great humour.

‘… award for the best show Umore Azoka has been given for the quality of the artists’ performance, rythm, and capacity of communication, illustrating at each moment, a way of seeing and doing in which humour does not conceal their striking technique.

    Memorable Saturday

Last Saturday, at sunset, Los Gingers, presented their new show «Perlas y Plumas» (‘Pearls and Feathers’). Whether you have already seen Silvia Compte, Guga Arruda, Ramiro Vergaz and Dani Cercos perform in Circ Cric or have never seen them, don’t miss them this time. «Perlas y Plumas» (‘Pearls and Feathers’) is a succession of choreographed audience-friendly numbers with savoir faire, sealed by the relationship the four artists maintain on stage. Stuffed with gags that are never used as an easy device, the show combines a large number of circus specialities and for each of which, Los Gingers show an apparently innate mastery which is, however, the fruit of thousands of hours of work.

El Punt, Friday, 21st July 2006

With special mention for Los Gingers. The show “Perlas y Plumas” (‘Pearls and Feathers’) inspired by the world of Variétés, is a little marvel for the performers’ sense of rythm , the comic aspect with which the world of Revue is depicted and the unbelievable acrobatics and juggling performed by the members of this company.

Festival de Teatro de Humor de Araia  (Comic Theatre Festival of Araia)

Just to quote the words of the event coordinator, before the curtain of the day fell with “Perlas y Plumas” (‘Pearls and Feathers’), a circus and theatre show signed by Los Gingers: ‘One usually comes out of the show with stomach cramp from laughing’.
